Time was rolling quietly when one of us came up with an idea of performing a skit in our cultural function in the hostel. Nobody then knew that this was probably the seeds sown for a Dramatics Section. Within not time the initiative turned to be a stepping stone for the foundation of the section.
Exploiting the opportunities we performed a stand-up on our Bhawan Day and a skit on our foundation day. Moreover members contributed for skits of NSS.
The section is now all set to shift from short skits to full-fledged plays in the coming time. We plan to perform 2 plays per semester with a homogenous mixture of English and Hindi plays. The section will also include a comedy section as a tributary of the main section. With so much of enthusiasm involved IIT Mandi is going to witness the hosting of many plays in the coming future.
