EDC , Entrepreneurship Development Cell , IIT Mandi came into existence gradually when the students of IIT Mandi started knowing what is entrepreneurship and how to develop it.
EDC aims at spreading entrepreneurial abilities and generating awareness and enthusiasm among the students to pursue entrepreneurship. It also helps the students interested in their own business by providing them guidance.
Besides having conducted a guest lecture by professor V.K Nangia , Chairman DOMS IIT Roorkee. The cell aims to organize its own fest, lectures and workshops in good quantity and high quality.
Apart from this the cell will soon be conducting events which involve participation at national and international levels.
In a nutshell, the EDC stresses on enhancing an individual's personality and helping student pursue his own interest in this world where everyone is following the set path blindly.
