The Web Design Section of IIT Mandi consists of two parts, the Web Development Team and the learning division. The WDT is concerned with the development and maintenance of websites and the learning division organizes lectures and workshops for the students who are interested in learning Web design.
The initial year for the web development section has been quite successful. The web development team has developed the institute website in its nascent stage itself and its future plans consist of developing the intranet and making the institute website more functional. Lectures were conducted for the students on HTML and CSS by the learning division. With the vision of providing more flexible, intuitive and innovative web solutions the Web Design section aims to grow in several directions .
