Safety

Safety Manual

A Safety Manual for Laboratories/Academic & Research facilities

Laboratory Safety Training

Help make employers aware of the OSHA standards and best practices available to prevent injury and illness as well as protect workers from the diverse hazards encountered in primarily non-production laboratories, including exposure to chemical, biological, and radiological hazards.

First Aid

First aid is emergency care given immediately to an injured person. The purpose of first aid is to minimize injury and future disability. In serious cases, first aid may be necessary to keep the victim alive.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) combines rescue breathing (mouth-tomouth) and chest compressions to temporarily pump enough blood to the brain until specialised treatment is available. Chest compressions are the priority in CPR.

Fire Safety

All employers should develop a fire safety plan, and all employees should know what to do if a fire breaks out. Employees need to know about the company emergency plan and which employees are responsible for executing the plan. Additionally, this basic fire safety training should include: How to exit the building.
